Are the Dishonored 2 Limited and Premium Collector’s Editions worth buying?

The long awaited sequel to Dishonored will be coming out soon. If you are planning to pick up Dishonored 2, you will have two options at launch. So are the Limited and Premium Collector’s Editions worth purchasing? If you are having a hard time deciding, you can check out our buying guide below.

Pricing

The Limited Edition is cheaper when compared to the Premium Collector’s Edition of Dishonored 2. You can check out the current price tags for both with the following links from Amazon: Limited Edition and Premium Collector’s Edition.

About Dishonored 2

Dishonored 2 takes place 15 years after the first game. The protagonist from the original title, Corvo Attano, will be returning as one of two playable characters. The other is Emily Kaldwin, the dethroned empress of Dunwall.

Emily has her own unique powers. For example, Domino connects several enemies together so that they will share the same fate while Doppelganger creates a clone of Emily to distract enemies. Far Reach is used to pull objects and enemies to her while Mesmerize puts targets in a sedation state. Last but not least, Shadow Walk allows her to turn to a stealthier form.

The first game is known for providing an open-ended approach to tackling missions. This concept has been further expanded in the sequel with two playable characters as well as new non-lethal attacks.

Needless to say, if you enjoyed Dishonored, you should end up enjoying Dishonored 2 as well.
