The Order 1886 is arguable the biggest exclusive being released for the PlayStation 4 so far. While you can simply purchase the game and enjoy, there are also a few complimentary products that you can buy that will further optimize your experience. You can find our list of recommend products below this paragraph.

Best PS4 Gaming Headsets for The Order 1886

While a lot of gamers have been wowed by The Order 1886’s graphics so far, the sound design is equally as good thanks to the excellent voice acting, orchestrated background music and other audio effects. To take advantage of the sound design, we suggest getting a surround sound gaming headset.

Fortunately, Sony has three official headsets, all of which support 7.1 virtual surround sound, that you can buy. The most affordable one is the Silver Wired Headset. If you want a wireless one, you can also pick up the Gold Wireless or the Pulse Elite Edition (which comes with BassImpact). You can find the products on Amazon with these links: Pulse Elite Edition Wireless Stereo Headset, PlayStation Gold Wireless Stereo Headset and PlayStation Silver Wired Stereo Headset.

With these headsets, you will be more immerse in the world as you will be able to hear which direction the enemy, whether they or humans with guns or the werewolf-like Lycans, will be attacking you from.

Soundtrack

Of course, you may not want to stop listening to The Order 1886 even if you are not playing it. The game’s official soundtrack is composed by the British Academy Award-winning, Jason Graves who previously worked on Dead Space as well as the 2013 reboot of Tomb Raider. With his latest project, he decided to based his compositions off of the lore of the Lycans and Knights of the Roundtable.

A digital download version of the soundtrack is available for collector’s edition and premium edition. Check out the two special editions of the game with these pages on Amazon: The Order: 1886 Collector’s Edition and The Order: 1886 Premium Edition. You can also purchase the physical disc version here.

Thumb Grips

Being a third-person shooter, you are expected to use the analog stick a lot to reposition yourself and aim. While a huge improvement over the DualShock 3, some gamers may still not like how the analog sticks on the DualShock 4 feels. Fortunately, you can easily put something on top of the nubs to your liking. We recommend getting the KontrolFreek FPS Freek Ultra, which you can do so with this link, as it should give you a better grip (and, thus, better accuracy).

 The Order 1886 Strategy Guide

If you think that you may run into trouble while playing the game, you may want to pick up The Order 1886 Signature Series Strategy Guide as well. The book will provide a complete walkthrough, including detailed maps to find all the collectibles.

The development team, Ready at Dawn, also spent a lot of time crafting the compelling world of The Order 1886. If you are interested in learning more of the lore, the official strategy guide also contains armory and bestiary sections. You can get the guide with this page.

Fortunately, you will be able to use the Remote Play feature, which allows you to stream the game through another television screen (via the PlayStation TV) or thorough the PlayStation Vita. With the right setup, you should be able to play the game smoothly.
