Top five of the best PS4 exclusive games coming out in 2015 that you should consider buying

While the PlayStation 4 had a solid software lineup in 2014, a few gamers ended being disappointed with the lack of any true exclusive releases aside from DriveClub and inFamous: Second Son. Fortunately, it looks like Sony is going to turn things around on that front early and often in 2015. So what are the best PS4 exclusives slated for this year that you should consider buying? Find out in our list.

Before we start the top five countdown, we would like to acknowledge a few exclusives that did not make the list but are still worth looking into. On the download side, you should keep an eye on Alienation (from the creator of Resogun), Everybody’s Gone to Rapture (from the developer of Dear Esther) and The Tomorrow Children (from the same people responsible for the PixelJunk series).

If you are into platformers, you should also pay attention to the Ratchet and Clank reboot in addition to Tearaway Unfolded, a reimagining of the Vita game for the PlayStation 4. Last but not least is Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance, which should provide endless hours of deep turn-based strategy gameplay. With that said, you can find out top five most anticipated PS4 exclusives for 2015 below.

5. Until Dawn

After starting life as a PlayStation Move game for the PlayStation 3, development for Until Dawn was moved to the PlayStation 4. For the uninformed, the survival-horror game combine elements from Heavy Rain with teen slasher flicks. Therefore, you will get many different paths depending on whether or not your character survive a specific scene. Even though it may not end up getting the most critical acclaim, Until Dawn is very unique and should be a blast to play with others watching.

You can preorder the new I.P., which should be released in the summer, with Amazon here.

After developing two excellent God of War games, Ready at Dawn decided to take the next step to create a new AAA experience for the PlayStation 4. After a delay, their new project looks like it is shaping up to be a showcase game for the system as you will be hard-pressed trying to find a better-looking title. With the addition of solid shooting mechanics and the added twists of werewolf-like monsters, The Order 1886 should be a great thrill ride from beginning to end.

The Order 1886 launches on the 20th of February. Preorder it now with this link.

Team Ico may still be toiling away with The Last Guardian but there is a somewhat similar experience on the way for the PlayStation 4. In Rime, you play as a boy who get to explore several unique islands filled with puzzles and spectacular views. Moreover, the game has looked simply stunning so far, borrowing from visual cues with the likes of Studio Ghibli. Hopefully, Rime should keep Team Ico fans happy until The Last Guardian is finally released.

The new I.P. should be launching sometime before the end of this year.

rime_ps4_22. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

One of the best PS3 exclusive series, Uncharted, is finally making its way to the PS4 in 2015. Naughty Dog took some of the gameplay elements from the award-winning The Last of Us and added it to Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End to create more open gun fights along with a bigger emphasis on stealth. The first gameplay footage looked great when it was shown off during the PlayStation Experience event in December. With still plenty of development time left, the sequel should end up looking even better when it is all said and done.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is also expected to arrive before the end of 2015. Preorder the sequel here.

Another franchise that hit it big last generation was Dark Souls/Demon’s Souls. Sony decided to team up once again with From Software to develop a spiritual successor in the form of a new I.P. Compared to the previous games, Bloodborne places more emphasis on action due to the removal of a proper shield. The enemies are also more aggressive, forcing the player to think more quickly on his or her feet. Last but not least, From Software also add a random-generated dungeon, which should make the experience fresh every time you visit the location in another player’s game.

If you own a PlayStation 4, make sure you don’t miss out on Bloodborne when it releases on the 24th of March. Preorder exclusive RPG from Amazon with this link.

Bloodborne_Chalice-Dungeon-4Along with strong third-party support, the PS4 is set up to have quite an impressive year for 2015.
